Fake commissions or real commissions? Which do you prefer?

We have been discussing this topic the past 24 hours here at tagvillage headquarters. Do our members want fake commissions? Or would they prefer real ones? And honestly, it has been a difficult decision to make. We truly hope you are happy. Our CEO made an executive decision and decided to give you real ones.

You may be asking what in the world we are talking about. The last paragraph is a bit confusing. So, let me shed some light. Our development team has been developing our Top Secret Project, now known as the Bazaar, for several months. They write code, test it, enhance it, fix bugs, rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat, etc., etc., etc.

Yesterday, after hours of grueling tests, the prevailing decision is that the Tags part of the Bazaar is 100% complete and the Items part of the Bazaar is 98% complete. The developers feel the Bazaar is so complete from testing that there is no need for further testing. They essentially told our CEO that testing the Bazaar with the entire membership would simply be a waste of time and energy.

However, as most of you know, we have announced we would test the site with the entire membership before we make it live for real. Testing involves setting up separate servers, teaching the members how to access those servers, supporting various questions regarding the testing environment, and a lot of other costly activity. The most important aspect of testing is that members would be getting FAKE COMMISSIONS and buying FAKE ITEMS for about 1 week.

If we skip testing and move straight to the real live Bazaar, then our members can begin buying real items and making REAL COMMISSIONS immediately. So, we have a hard decision. Do we honor the promise of testing? Or, do we skip it and move straight to the real live Bazaar?

As we stated before, our CEO made an executive decision. He decided we would skip testing and go straight to the real live Bazaar! Therefore, you will very soon see a new Tab appear on the site. This Tab will say "Bazaar" and will be the page where all the Tags and Items are traded. This will NOT be FAKE! It will NOT be testing. When you see the Bazaar appear on the site, it will be for real! So the commissions you earn and the items you buy will be for REAL!

As we stated before the Tags part of the Bazaar is 100% ready and the Items part of the Bazaar is 98% ready. Also, there is a bit of server preparation we must complete before it is live. So, we have decided to launch the Bazaar in the following 3 stages:

3. Items

You will notice slight changes to the site as we prepare the servers to host the Bazaar along with TagTrading and other aspects of the site. All of a sudden, there will be a new "Bazaar" button. At first, only the Tags part of the Bazaar will be working. Then, suddenly, the Items part will be working. So, watch the site over the next several days. A LOT is about to happen. And everything that appears is live, for REAL, not testing.

Tagvillage Marketplace is Opening Very Soon!

Word has it that Tagvillage Marketplace might be opening as soon as July 22nd, 2011.  As soon as it does members will be able to start buying listed products for only $0.10  --It unbelievable but true.

What does this mean for a Money Opportunity.  Well if a member purchase a product and you are the referer of that member, you will earn 5% of the retail value of the product sold.  This is abolutely insane.  Here is an example:

Let’s take a 60” Sony Bravia LED TV for example. Say this item normally sells for $2000.00 in a retail store. Now, let’s say you referred a friend to tagvillage and they decided they wanted to buy this TV, but they only paid 0.10 tagvillage Credits for it. How much commission do you think tagvillage would pay you for referring them? I was thinking it makes sense that tagvillage would pay nothing at all. After all, they are selling a $2000 TV for only 0.10 tagvillage Credits so surely they cannot afford to pay a referral commission. Or, maybe just to be nice, they would pay 0.01 tagvillage Credits or something like that. But no, instead, they are going to pay you 5% of the RETAIL VALUE of the product, in tagvillage Credits!
Yes, you read that correct. If you refer a friend, and they buy a $2000 TV on tagvillage, even though they only pay 0.10 tagvillage Credits for the item, you would get a referral commission of 100.00 tagvillage Credits! I think they have gone completely insane around here. But they assured me; they have negotiated and developed the most revolutionary market place ever. They promised me; there is a subsidizing system built into this amazing new platform that will allow every product on earth to sell for a whopping 0.10 tagvillage Credits and yet they will still be able to reward the person who referred the buyer with a 5% commission of the actual retail price, in tagvillage Credits.

I thought I would give a quick update on the progress of Tagvillage.  They just recently rolled out the new look for the website.  It is still in beta, but it is really starting to look sharp.  Now, according to the CEO, they can start to putting a lot of the focus on the "Top Secret" project.

Brand New Site and Next Steps

A complete overhaul, a few months in the making was revealed today. After countless hours of coding and testing, we truly hope the members of tagvillage like the new site. We assure you a lot of planning, research, and complex thinking went into the changes revealed today.


You may notice a few enhancements to the parts of the site that already existed. You may also notice some improvements in site performance. But what we really hope you notice is that we are starting to carve out space to implement new features like Search and Social Networking. At this time, these aspects of the site are not functioning, but we thought it would be nice to show our members where they will live as they are brought forth from development.


After sitting on pins and needles all morning, pacing back and forth around the office, rapping his knuckles on every desk in sight, and prodding every single developer he could find for a status report, our CEO finally jumped for joy and was able to relax when Alex Koval, head of Development, announced, "it is published." A collective sigh of relief followed by smiles and 'hoorays' filled the office. Then, instantly, it was eerily quiet as everyone stared at their computer screens waiting for error notices and bug reports to flood their vision.


Surprisingly, this didn't happen. Only a few small bugs crawled in. They were quickly slain and most of the crew was able to go home to their families to rest and relax. With only a few small bugs to deal with, we feel the new site will be 100% functioning within 48 hours. At least, this is the report our developers have bravely delivered to our CEO.


"Good! Now we can put all our focus into the Top Secret Project!" exclaimed David Ruebush, CEO, when he got this report. He went on to say, "In a few weeks, Sony, Apple, Nike, Walmart, Samsung, Home Depot, Target, Old Navy, Macy's, and so many more will be all over our site. We have to get the Top Secret Project finished so our members can capitalize on this amazing opportunity!"


As I left his office, I couldn't help but think how incredible it is that tens of thousands of people are about to make a fortune from companies like Nike and Apple and Old Navy, just by owning some words, er, I mean Tags. Wow! And if only they knew what the Top Secret Project had in store for them. I bet they would be on the streets begging their friends and neighbors to join the village. Well, the great thing is that so many lucky "early birds" are about to feast on a BIG GIANT WORM! And then, we get to pour this feast out to the rest of the world and carve off a big fat helping for our favorite Causes. What an awesome day! I am so glad I work at tagvillage.
