Top Secret Project Interview #2

It has been a week since I was granted access to the secure zone. Today the powers that be allowed my meager marketing department status to once again get me access to the secure zone. I am happy to announce much progress has been made. I sat down with our CEO and two of the top developers here on staff, Igor and Vic, and asked them a lot of questions. What I now present to you is the facts they allowed me to release.
Top Secret Project is still in development but was delayed for about 4 to 5 days. tagvillage structures their programming department into teams. There is a team developing the Top Secret Project, one working on the Search Engine, one developing the Social Platform, one collaborating and creating the blue-prints for future projects, and one that supports and enhances the current software, database, and website. Unfortunately, late last week, a member of the support team found some major bugs in our system. These bugs required a massive number of the Top Secret Project developers to assist. So, while they were slaying these pesky bugs, they were unable to work on Top Secret Project. However, they are happy to report the major bugs are resolved and they are back to full staff in the Top Secret Project Department.
Before I discuss the details I am allowed to release about the Top Secret Project, I want to tell you about another project that is being worked on here at tagvillage. A large number of our developers have been working for about 1 month now on a side-line task. Their task is to render our database and website into multiple languages and alphabets. They are getting very close to completing this project. I was told we will see some really cool new language features on tagvillage within the next 30 days.

The ‘Translation Team’ is working with Rosetta to translate our entire site into over 20 different languages with complete alphabet support. This means people who speak languages other than English will be able to fully interact with tagvillage in their native tongue and alphabet. It also means they can trade Tags in these native languages. Some of the cool new language features are really awesome. For example, the site will auto-detect your native language without you having to set it manually. Also, there will be a system to allow members to offer better translation suggestions if we just don’t quite have it correct. We really look forward to tagvillage being multi-national and multi-lingual within 30 days!
Now, let's get on to the Top Secret Project. I have some very exciting news regarding this and I am sure many of you are anticipating my report. A little birdy let out a rumor this week that the Top Secret Project will include Tagvertising Commissions. I am happy to report that the CEO and development leaders did confirm this. Once products begin to sell for $0.10 on the site, there will also be advertising for the businesses that sell and/or make the products or supply the services. Therefore, there will be revenue to share with members who own the right Tags.
I asked how the Tagvertising would work in the Top Secret Program and was given this example. Imagine that Neiman Marcus placed a pair of Prada high heel shoes for sale on the site. They may be targeting Tags such as ‘high heel shoes’, ‘prada shoes’, ‘womens shoes’, ‘dress shoes’, ‘cocktail shoes’, etc. So, any member who owns the Tags they target when they list this item for sale on the site will earn commissions. The developers were not allowed to give me too many details regarding this system, to protect it from competitors. However, they did confirm that businesses will be Tagvertising when they list products and services for sale in the Top Secret Project and members who own the Tags that are targeted WILL get commission. So, gobble up good Tags. You could start seeing Tagvertising earnings within a few weeks!
And don’t forget, no matter how much a product sells for in the real world, it will never be more than $0.10 at tagvillage. I have already started my shopping list: Vacation in Hawaii ($0.10), new iPad ($0.10), 60” LED TV ($0.10), and memory foam bed ($0.10). There is much more, but I don’t want to bore you with my shopping, I am sure you have your own to think about.
OK. Now for some other details the development team wanted me to share. When we release the Top Secret Program, tagvillage must be sure it is perfect. After all, we are about to be selling thousands of items and representing thousands of businesses that provide goods and services. They will trust our company with the Tagvertising and the sale of the actual item. Our developers absolutely cannot mess this up. There is a lot of pressure on them to build a very stable, error-free machine. So, they asked our CEO if we can do a ‘test run’ or sort of a Beta version of the Top Secret Project.
Actually, they plan to have 3 ‘test runs’. The Stage 1 Test will be entirely in-house. It will include the entire tagvillage staff along with several testing computers that have software on them designed to run millions of tests on the system. After the Stage 1 Test is complete, we will move to a Stage 2 Test. This will include a hand-picked team of actual site members along with the tagvillage staff. This team is already being assembled. After the Stage 2 Test is complete, we will move to a Stage 3 Test.
The Stage 3 Test will be much more exhaustive. It will also include the ENTIRE tagvillage membership. So, yes, you will be involved. Our team wants to fully test the functions of the Top Secret Program and make sure it can successfully process the transactions of our entire membership and new members as they join.
We will also release the Top Secret Project live on the site in 2 Phases. Each Phase will have its own 3 stages of ‘test runs’.
The first Phase will be Tags only. The only items for sale in the first Phase of Top Secret Project will be Tags. The reason for this is that the software for trading Tags is already complete and working on the site. Also, if we mess up Tags in the Top Secret Project, it is easy to roll-back and not hurt anyone. If we mess up goods and services in the Top Secret Project, it could really hurt a vendor (Tagvertiser) and would not be good for our members at all. So, we will test the system in 3 Stages on Phase 1 (Tags Only). Once this Phase is fully tested and working live on the site, we will then begin to implement Phase 2 (Goods and Services). Phase 2 will also be implemented in 3 Test Stages. By the end of Phase 2, the entire Top Secret Project will be live and working like a charm. I bet once that happens membership explodes and Tagvertising commissions grow like crazy!
There are several rules the developers are establishing to govern the Top Secret Project. There are also many instructions they are creating to help our members find what they want and buy it for only $0.10, which is still incredible to me! Our CEO and development leaders assured me they will be at the point where they can begin to share these rules and instructions with all of us very soon. They want to make sure the Top Secret Project is completely in Stage 1 Testing before they release too many details. I really appreciate this. After all, I want the best opportunity to earn Tagvertising Commissions from my Tags, and the best chance to buy great things for only $0.10 possible. So, I don’t mind them keeping the details under wraps and the competition at bay.
Guys and gals, it really sounds like tagvillage is about to springboard to a higher level. Very soon we will have the entire site available in over 20 languages with complete alphabet support. Also, it won’t be long before we are buying all kinds of amazing things for only $0.10 each. And better still, we will soon be earning Tagvertising Commissions on the Tags we own as businesses list goods and services in the Top Secret Project. This is surely about to get amazing!
